Ta Da! Owl Paintings are finished!

I feel super accomplished!  I finished 2 owl paintings this weekend, woohoo!  The first one was an 8x10, because I knew I could finish that one.  The second one was 20x20 and I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish it this weekend but I finished a few hours ago!

First Owl:

Second Owl:

I am really happy with the way both owls turned out.  I'm going to try to paint some more owls in the near future.  I've always loved birds.

As a reward for finishing both paintings this weekend, I treated myself to a Salted Caramel Mocha from Starbucks (dellliiiicccciiiiouuuussss!!!!)  It's like dessert in a cup!

Have a relaxing Sunday, everyone!

You can find both owl paintings for sale on my etsy; prints coming soon!

  1. I'm sitting here looking at your artwork at your Etys shop (in your craft cult app) and you do such beautiful work! I love the peppers!

I also love the second owl painting. Owls are quite special to me because I rehab them at work. We just lost our favorite owl, Howard. He was born with too many problems.

Off to visit your shop now.

  2. Thanks Sher! I really appreciate it. I'm so sorry to hear about Howard, it's always so sad when an innocent creature passes on.

  7. I love following your blog...we have so much in common.

I've done a lot of research concerning AP Studio Art classes; we will be offering these next year at the high school where I teach.
But I'm having difficulty finding the cost. I did find that the fee for each exam is $87.

I also read that AP Studio Art portfolios should be ordered online, along with exams for other subjects. AP Studio Art portfolios now must be ordered by the type of portfolio that will be submitted: AP Studio Art: 2-D Design, AP Studio Art: 3-D Design, or AP Studio Art: Drawing.

Do you know what the cost of these portfolios is?

Thanks so much for your help,
    Mary
